Troubleshooting Common Issues
Step-by-step instructions on resolving common issues like rendering errors, browser freeze, or PDF export problems.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
If you experience any issues while using ToolBayan, don't worry! Because most of our tools process files directly inside your web browser (client-side), standard browser configurations, cache, or extensions can sometimes affect how they run.
Here is a step-by-step troubleshooting guide to help you solve the most common problems.
1. Frozen Pages & Performance Lag
The PDF Editor page or Background Remover is freezing
- The Cause: Heavy client-side processing (such as analyzing large PDFs or processing high-resolution images) requires a high amount of temporary memory (RAM).
- The Solution:
- Close other open browser tabs to free up system memory.
- Clear your browser cache and refresh the page (press
Ctrl + F5orCmd + Shift + R). - Compress large PDFs before opening them in our PDF Editor. Files under 20MB are recommended for the smoothest experience.
2. Layout & Styling Glitches
Forms, inputs, or generated documents are overlapping
- The Cause: High system zoom or custom browser page scaling settings.
- The Solution:
- Reset your browser zoom to 100% (press
Ctrl + 0orCmd + 0). - Check if you have any custom CSS injector extensions or translator tools running that modify text sizes, as these can affect document alignment grids.
- Ensure your browser is updated to the latest stable version. Check our list of Supported Browsers for compatibility details.
- Reset your browser zoom to 100% (press
3. File Download Failures
Clicked "Download" or "Save" but nothing happens
- The Cause: Strict browser download permissions, ad blocker extensions, or pop-up blocker settings.
- The Solution:
- Check the top-right of your browser address bar. Look for a blocked pop-up icon and select "Always allow downloads/pop-ups from ToolBayan".
- Temporarily disable strict ad blockers or privacy extensions, as they can sometimes block programmatic local file exports.
- Test using "Incognito" or "Private Browsing" mode. If it works there, a browser extension is likely blocking the download.
4. Specific Tool Problems
ID Picture Maker is not detecting my face or background
- The Cause: The uploaded photo might have poor lighting, low contrast, or the background may be too busy.
- The Solution:
- Use a clear, well-lit selfie or portrait photo where your face is fully visible and looking straight ahead.
- Ensure your file format is in the correct format (we recommend standard
.jpgor.png). Read more details in our Supported File Formats Guide.
